民進黨嘉義縣立委蔡易餘今(6）日上午8時許，跑行程途中發生車禍！由洪姓男子駕駛的蔡易餘坐車，行經太保市168縣道與台37線路口時，與一輛白色轎車發生碰撞，整輛車嚴重毀損，車上3人也全數緊急送醫救治。意外發生當下的監視器也隨之曝光，蔡易餘的座車側翻180度後噴飛。

8日早上8時許，蔡易餘的坐車行經縣道太保市168縣道與台37線交差路口，突然一輛白色轎車左轉後持續往前開，兩輛車隨即發生強烈撞擊。蔡易餘的休旅車被這麼一撞180度大側翻後，又再向翻滾。

整輛座車嚴重毀損，車前方擋風玻璃全數碎裂，車頭引擎蓋、車側變形，而車內包含蔡易餘在內，3人全數送醫救治；蔡易餘目前手腳受傷、意識清醒，其座車駕駛洪男傷勢較重，臉部需縫合，另一名隨扈則受到輕傷。

陳男駕駛的白色轎車，則是車頭嚴重變形，保險桿斷裂，警方表示，初步研判白色轎車駕駛陳男疑似闖紅燈釀禍，至於車禍發生原因以及肇責，還有待進一步調查釐清。
